3/7/14[]

Ah, finally, I have found peace and solace, and long last.

... Or at least, that's what I would be saying, if not for a few complications.

My original flee from the Dragonia to the land of ScrewJ had only proven relaxing for the first of my days there. The word soon got out that I had fled the country, and countless friends and foes alike had followed. I tried to grit my teeth and ignore them, but they were too much.

I soon fled once again without telling anyone of my disappearance, not even my brother, for I fear his annoyance and his potential to bring back the nuisances to my new place of rest. Now I had hoped that the new place would be less of a pain, and for the most part it is. But this land, Dragonhollow they call it, is absolutely FESTERING with monsters! I have to resign myself to my incomplete cabin on stilts to write my trials and tribulations in this damn book during the night!

On top of that, one of the lords of this land would not stop feeding into the obnoxious peasants that annoyed some of the other citizens, myself included. I couldn't get a moment's peace at the village square, which is the only truly safe haven from monsters.

Lastly, though it is only to be expected, I appear to be suffering from a withdrawal in power. As much responsibility as it has lifted off my shoulders to flee, I much miss my magic and command over the subjects of Dragonia, and it's largest nations, Irielia's Shield. Though it pains me to even remember that name, so I shall try to forget about my worries with all due haste. Maybe I can find something to enjoy about this realm in the next few days...

3/7/14[]

Well, the cabin I had envisioned is finished, even if it is mildly unfurnished. It's nice to get back to humble structures such as this, especially seeing that they're harder to protect in Dragonhollow. It's distance from the ground also helps in that it requires a ladder to enter, and climbing is not a skill that monster posses.

My home also resides in a rather secluded area, which is nice for avoided bandits and raiders.

... Though I must admit, my ego is harder to stroke when people aren't continually wanting to destroy a structure I created simply because they could not do better. Perhaps if I procured a companion, one that could tell me how great I was while I humbly thank them and..

... Wow that authority did go to my head.

Well, I suppose some of the others are nice enough, though being bitter is easier for the time being. Perhaps I should keep tabs on some of the more outgoing ones. But for now, I can't be bothered, I must make my mine so as to get my minerals, now that the sun has come up and the monsters have shambled away.

3/9/14[]

Today was one of those kind of days. The kind where you have absolutely positively less than nothing to do other than to be left to your own devices.

So I simply fooled around today, digging around in the mine I had finished yesterday, fishing up salmon, pufferfish, and clownfish (All of which have been properly mounted on my wall), and furnished the house up a bit. By a bit, I mean, "Holy mother of God I found emerald ore so I'm going to use a tedious system of pistons to lug that heavy rock up to my cabin!".

...And that I did.

In the words of someone probably less sophisticated than I, my house has been successfully "Pimped out".

Aside from that, I've finally gotten the chance to send a application for citizen of this land to the High Sorceress, or whatever they call authority in this realm. Ace I believe her name is. Hopefully my application will go unrevoked.

I also had the fortune to find several hidden obstacle courses throughout the Swamp Village. The first of the two I saw wasn't very hard, and awarded me a token of some sort. The second one was tediously hard, and involved magma. But, through perseverance and carefulness, I made it out with minimal crying, only three burns, and another much more valuable token.

Anyway, I've been thinking of gathering the resources to build a portal. Perhaps then I'll create an underground tunnel to the central hub of this land, so I can feel safe in leaving here to explore...

3/10/14[]

A few interesting occurrences occurred today.

First off, I've been granted citizenship by the High Sorceress Ace, who then proceeded to make a comment in a foreign language that I previously stated I could speak. I suppose I implied I spoke it well, and forgot to mention that by "speak", I meant "am learning to speak". Needless to say, her words were lost on me.

But this does mean I can purchase a passport for the airships in the swamp village. They are expensive however, so I doubt I will be exploring these new exotic lands anytime soon. Though I've managed to gather quite a haul from my newly completed mineshaft, gathering emeralds, gold, redstone, lapis, and most importantly, diamonds. I also had the chance to collect for myself two more samples of ore, redstone and diamond respectively, to adorn in my house next to the emerald. Soon I shall have the most decadent little display in my possession.

... Oh, I also found that one of my clues were observed by someone. The day before, I put two clues in the town regarding the co-ordinates of my secluded settlement. One is on a sign on a public board of sorts, and the other (The one that was taken) was hidden in a book in a tree at the center of the swamp village. This was a way to stroke my ego whether or not my house is found.

If I am found, then I can boast about my collection of gems and my humble little cabin with it's monster-proof design. If I'm not found, then I can boast about how intelligent and clever I was with the clues to my house. It's what some call a "Win-Win Situation"...

3/11/14[]

I learned something very very verrryyy important today.

Pigmen don't take to kindly to those who attempt a handshake. Well, not that I'd know, considering that I was almost killed simply by passing them. I was trying to make my way to an area made by one of the more prominent server goers, where I heard it's easy to obtain the needed money to purchase a passport to the Redwood Gardens.

I eventually did get what I needed for it, and set off the this new city. It's a very posh place, with fine marble shaping every building and colorful flowers surrounding every structure in the walls. But that enjoyment was short lived, as I soon headed back and lost my passport on the way. I've since acquired a new one, but I don't plan on going back soon.

I continued mining today, allowing me to obtain three new ores for my collection, Iron, Gold, and Lapis, the lattermost of which I am most proud of. I also traded some of my newfound gold to a chap who calls himself "The BlockBreaker". He gave me blaze rods in return, which made for some lovely potion stands that now adorn my window sill.

Anywho, I don't see much happening in the near future. I saw a library at the Redwood Gardens, perhaps I'll borrow some books from there to keep me occupied.

Perhaps I'll make some literature myself to be submitted...
